The new year may be just two months old, but already it has proven to be fruitful for Nissan as January 2012 sales increased an impressive 10.4 percent over January 2011. Once again proving its popularity in North America, Nissan Division sales also increased 12.5 percent.

The last-generation Nissan Versa attracted drivers with its used-car price, one of the lowest overall ownership costs available, and understated comfort and interior room. Though you wouldn't necessarily know it to look at it, it has in fact, offered more room than many of the other subcompacts competing in the segment.
